Not everyone may think they have the time to go by the grocery store often but going at least once or more could save you a great deal of money.
Eat it while its in season and on sale.
You may have noticed that I’ve eaten a lot of shrimp and green beans lately. Publix has had “ready to eat peeled” shrimp on sale for $4.99 lb lately. I found that a quarter of a lb is a great portion for one meal. That is about $3. The green beans have been great. They have been $1.49 lb. The bag I bought was $1.80 and has lasted me all week. And I still have green beans left over!
By adjusting your menu to what your grocery store has on sale can still allow you to eat healthy and save money.
